Smile’s Light and Dark themes each paint the widget one plain colour. Set the matching wallpaper and the edge of the widget disappears.

Light

For the Light theme. The same soft white the widget draws itself on.

Dark

For the Dark theme. Slightly lifted from black, so the widget still reads as a widget.

Setting it on your iPhone

  1. Touch and hold the wallpaper above and choose Save to Photos.
  2. Open Settings, then Wallpaper, then Add New Wallpaper, and pick it from Photos.
  3. In Smile, open Appearance and choose the theme with the same name.

If you use a transparent widget instead, you do not need these. That mode crops your own wallpaper, whatever it is.
